Roatan Local Market Presents

Miru with Aransu

The name of this company, means 'yellow' in Garifuna, and was created long time ago by Miru and her sister. Since Miru moved to Roatan, she has been participating in the Roatan Local Market, where she has learned to develop techniques such as recycling jewelery much more in detail. In her stand you will find earrings, chains and bracelets, made by the Japanese technique Miyuki..

When she is not participating in the Roatan Local Market as an artisan, she collaborates with the project as a musician, since our artisan is a professional cellist in the Coyoacán Symphony Orchestra (Mexico). For her, the Roatan Local Market has managed to give a diverse and artistic space to musicians from the community, in which she is happy to have participated as a cellist.
