Florencia is the classic case among the artisans of the Roatan Local Market, that started with Starfishcraft after March 2020, when the island was shut down to tourists and every one was lacked of work. She started making macramé ornaments, diving into a learning by doing process that has not been difficult for her, because it is a job she enjoys very much.

She has recently expanded her business, involving her mother in the designs of sarongs, shirts and dresses, which her daughter then paints with the Tye Dye technique. Florencia is very happy with the bond that has been created between mother and daughter around working together at Starfish Craft. We wish that you girls continue having success!
